This guide will show how to install the "Ocelot Interactions" Source Format in Slate in a manner that it can be utilized in Ocelot's direct integration.  The "Ocelot Interactions" source format is an important part of the interaction export from Ocelot to Slate.

            
A] Create a Service Account
Navigating to Active User               

Start at the navigation bar.


Click the "Database" item in the "Database" menu.

This will bring up the Database page, where many Slate administrative pages are available. In the Users & Access section, select the "User Permissions" link.

This brings up the "Active Users" pages.

Create the Service Account


Press the "New User" button.  This brings up the "New User" dialog.

Populate the fields with the values for the Service User.

Sometimes there are prescribed security procedures for the email associated with the service account.

Press the "Save" button.

B] Define the Ocelot Interaction Types
Navigating to Interaction Types
Start at the navigation bar.                  

Click the "Database" item in the "Database" menu.

This brings up the Database page, where many Slate administrative pages are available. In the Records section, select the "Activity & Interaction Codes" link.


This brings up the "Activity & Interaction Codes" pages.

Press the "Insert" link.  This will bring up the "Insert Record in Activity & Interaction Codes" dialog.


Populate the fields with the values for the "Chatbot Interaction" code.

Press the "Save" button. This creates the "Chatbot Interaction" interaction type and returns you to the "Activity & Interaction Codes" pages.     


Press the "Insert" link.


Populate the fields with the values for the "Live Chat" interaction type.

Press the "Save" button.  This creates the "Live Chat" interaction type and returns you to the "Activity & Interaction Codes" page. 


Press the "Insert" link.

Populate the fields with the values for the "SMS Message" interaction type.

Press the "Save" button. This creates the "SMS Message" interaction type and returns you to the "Activity & Interaction Codes" pages.


This completes creation of the Interaction Codes. The "Activity & Interaction Codes" page will show the created interaction codes.



C] Install Ocelot Interaction Source Format


Navigating the Briefcase Import


Start at the navigation bar.


Click the "Database" item in the "Database" menu.


This will bring up the Database page, where many Slate administrative pages are available. In the Configurations section, select the "Briefcase Import" link.

Import Source Format from Briefcase


This will bring up the briefcase page.


Select the area with the hint text "Briefcase ID".  Enter the following briefcase ID into the selected area:


Press the "Add to Database" button. This will import the "Ocelot Interactions" Source Format.



B] Configure the "Ocelot Interactions" Source Format


Next we configure the "Ocelot Interactions" Source Format so that it can be utilized in the integration with Ocelot. Configuring requires editing settings on a few different administrative pages.


Navigating to Source Formats


Start at the navigation bar.


Click the "Database" item in the "Database" menu.

This will bring up the Database page, where many Slate administrative pages are available. In the Import section, select the "Source Formats" link.


This brings up the "Source Formats" page.


Find the newly imported "Ocelot Interactions" source format.  It will have format "JSON", a count of zero, and a status of "Awaiting Activation".  This brings up the "Ocelot Interactions" source format page.


D] Verify the "Ocelot Interactions" Source Format Remapping


Verify Field Remapping

In the "Edit" menu on the right hand side of the "Ocelot Interactions" source format page, press the "Edit" menu.


This brings up the "Remap Ocelot Interactions" page.

Verify these 5 fields.


Verify Value Mapping

Press on the "Value Mappings" link on the "Stage" section shown in the right-hand side of the page.


This brings up the "Ocelot Interactions Value Mappings" page.

Click on the row where "Source Field" is "Interaction Code".  This brings up the Value Mappings dialog for the "Interaction Code > Interaction: Code" remapping.


Verify that there are 6 value mappings and they are:


Press the "Cancel" button.  This returns you to the "Ocelot Interactions Value Mappings" page without making any changes.


Review Remap Setting


Press on the "Review" link in the "Stage" section shown in the right-hand side of the page.

This brings up the "Ocelot Interactions Review" page.


Verify that the Pre-Flight Check has no errors. 

Next press the "Ocelot Interactions" link at the top of the page.

This returns you to the "Ocelot Interactions" source format page.


Activate the Remapping


In the "Edit" menu on the right-hand side of the "Ocelot Interactions" source format page, press the "Edit" menu.

This brings up the "Edit Ocelot Interactions" dialog.


Change the "Remap Active" field to "Active".  Press the "Save" button.  This returns you to the "Ocelot Interactions" source format page.


Capture Web Service Post URL


In the "Ocelot Interactions" source format page, press the "View" link in the Web Services field.  This brings up the "Web Services Post URL" dialog.


Select the "Standard" tab.  Capture the full URL and keep in a safe location. The full URL will be used when registering the source format in Ocelot.


Press the "Close" button. This returns you to the "Ocelot Interactions"
