FAFSA Simplification - Two-Way Messaging Templates
Ocelot has developed two-way messaging templates to help institutions engage and inform students about the upcoming FAFSA Simplification changes. Below is an inclusive list of the available templates and information on where to find them within the admin system.
- To access the FAFSA Simplification templates, select the plus icon in the top right-hand corner and select Create Campaign.
- Select the select and continue button under the Ocelot Campaign Templates option.
- Select Financial Aid.
- Search the template, by typing the title of the template from the list below.

Information on creating an FSA ID | |
Income information will be transferred directly from the IRS on the 2024-2025 FAFSA | |

Reminder of upcoming workshop to complete FAFSA | |

Request documentation from students who indicated unaccompanied homeless youth | |

Let students know they may qualify for a professional judgment if their income has changed | |
Inform students with a negative SAI they may be eligible for additional funding options | |
Encourage students whose Pell significantly changed from the year before to contact the financial aid office | |
Encourage students who are no longer eligible for the Pell Grant from the year before to contact the financial aid office | |
Reach out to students to let them know that their Pell Grant may be different based on the enrollment | |
Notify Pell-eligible students they no longer need to be enrolled half-time in the summer to receive Pell | |
