Information uploaded into a contact list can be used as merge fields within a text message campaign.
When creating a contact list, each column is assigned a machine name. You can view the machine name by selecting the Advanced Mode toggle to on.
The machine name is used in the campaign with hashtags (#) on both sides of the machine name.
Example: Hi #First_Name#,
The available merge fields will populate as a dropdown when drafting the campaign message by entering #(and a letter).
