Multi-bot Live Conversation Authentication

Live conversation authentication allows customers to choose on an office-by-office basis whether or not a live conversation participant needs to authenticate (log in using their SSO credentials) prior to being placed into the live conversation queue.

Live conversation authentication can also be enabled for parent/child virtual assistants.

To enable live conversation authentication, complete the following steps:

  1. Add an authentication provider. Authentication providers must be enabled in each individual  virtual assistant (parent virtual assistant and all applicable child virtual assistants)

For instructions on adding an authentication provider, review the Adding an Authentication Provider article.

  2. Enable live conversation authentication on each individual virtual assistant (parent virtual assistant and all applicable child virtual assistants)

For instructions on enabling live conversation authentication, review the Live Conversation Authentication article.
